Having an entrepreneurial flair from a young age Simon got a taste of running his first business at the age of 16 when he started a side hustle selling furniture online. His first taste of the ‘real’ world of advertising and marketing started as a junior Media Strategist and Planner in a specialist team, as part of global media agency OMD. Working across a suite of global and local clients, he quickly found his feet and moved up the ranks and onto one of the agencies largest clients, McDonald’s. His next step in the world of Media was as part of the team tasked with launching Havas Media in the Australian market. Being one of their first team members at the agency, and seeing it to grow to over 60 employees, Simon had an urge to rekindle his entrepreneurial itch and went out on his own for the next challenge.
After marketing and building a digital HR recruitment platform for the professional service industry, and being part of the team that launched the concept for a Personal Training online marketplace, there was one common skill that kept shining through: Digital Marketing.
